TAG

Technical Advisory Group (TAG) was established to enable collaboration in ICT development, guide policies and plans, promote resource efficiency, ensure information exchange, and provide technical advice to the Government CIO.

The TAG is composed of government IT officers and technical advisers who support policy, standards, and implementation decisions.

ICT Standards

National ICT Standards Development

DCDT is responsible for setting ICT standards for procurement, usage, upgrades and disposal across all Government of Vanuatu ministries.

Standard Operating Environment (SOE)

Defines approved operating systems, default installed applications, and permitted software for government systems.

Ensures security, compatibility and cost-efficiency.

Review & Publication Process

Standards are reviewed by DCDT and TAG before publication.

Final standards are released publicly unless security risks exist.
