The PaCSON Executive Committee (EC) provides oversight and leadership on behalf of the whole PaCSON Community. The EC is a collective of three positions which have been voted on by PaCSON Members at the preceding years Annual General Meeting. The EC is empowered to make decisions on behalf of PaCSON and is responsible for the management and direction of PaCSON.
CERT Vanuatu (CERT VU), acting on behalf of the Department of Communication & Digital Transformation (DCDT) yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Vanuatu Police Force (VPF) to collaborate on cybersecurity and cybercrime responses in the country at the VANSEC house.
On Wednesday this week,the Chief Information Officer of the Office of the Government (OGCIO), Gerard Metsan, the Chairperson of the Vanuatu Trade Facilitation Steering Committee (TFSC) and the Director of the Department Customs and Inland Revenue (DCIR), Harold Tarosa, signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in relation to the security, maintenance and sustainability of the Vanuatu Electronic Single Window (VeSW) system.
The final consultation regarding the National Cyber Security Strategy (NCSS) that was with the private sector and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) was held at the Chiefs Nakamal in Port Vila last week.
